Our first visit was pretty short, since Madelyn had no interest in the funnel cake or bounce houses. But she did enjoy looking at all the people milling around and she enjoyed the grass (??). I predict many more years to come of visits to the Patch!

Pumpkin Patch
We made our first official trip to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch this year. We have watched from afar for many years, as the patch is just around the corner from our neighborhood. It is always jam-packed with kids and their parents. Sometimes there are even lines of cars along FM 1171, waiting to get in. This year, with all the rain we had, it was pretty muddy. We actually went early in October, so it wasn't too muddy yet, nor too crowded.

Aunt Cass bought Madelyn a pea-in-a-pod costume. Didn't realize it was too small til we were at the Patch!
