Sallie and Maddie Learn to Share

One day, Sallie and Maddie were hanging out on the quilt. Sallie had a new green ball.

Sallie said, "Look at my new green ball!" Maddie stared at it in amazement. It was so bright!

"Let me have that!" exclaimed Maddie. But Sallie bit down on the ball even harder. Maddie was very sad.

When Sallie saw how sad Maddie was, she felt bad. So, she offered the ball to Maddie and gave her a kiss. Maddie felt so much better!

"Thanks for sharing, Sallie. Someday I am going to throw this ball really far so you can chase it," said Maddie. Sallie can't wait for that day.
